CPRS National Conference in Halifax, June 8-10, 2008

A message from Allison Gerrard, Marketing Chair, CPRS Conference 2008…

CPRS Halifax

The snow keeps falling in Halifax (and in many other parts of the country!). Sometimes June seems far, far away. However, before we know it, PR professionals from across Canada will be meeting in Halifax to “chart the seas of change”. Comedian Ron James, General Rick Hillier, youth culture expert Max Valiquette, author of “Why Mexicans Don’t Drink Molson”, Andrea Mandel-Campbell, and citizen-generated news guru Leonard Brody, will be connecting with you on the shores of our magnificent harbour (the second largest ice-free one in the world!).

Check the conference website for more in-depth program information - we have lots of work and play planned, including more than 12 workshops, a harbour cruise, a CPRS 60th anniversary celebration, and a lobster dinner!‘Extra early bird’ registration ends February 22 - so register today to save and gain the chance to win an early registration prize.

Student and retiree rates available.

Finally, some of you may’ve heard about Nova Scotia Premier Rodney MacDonald’s ‘Top 10 Reasons for David Letterman to Visit Nova Scotia’ video. If you’re having trouble deciding whether or not to come to Halifax, check it out. You’ll be packing your bags as soon as you get home.
