Salary Range: $73,148 to $100,578

Job Summary
Reporting to the Executive Director of Communications, you will protect and enhance the corporate reputation and public profile of the University of Ottawa by providing strategic direction and leadership for both internal and external communications.
Qualifications
* Graduate degree in Communications, or a related field
* Minimum of eight years’ experience in the development, implementation and evaluation of strategic communications and marketing plans
* Experience with human and financial resource management
* Experience using computer systems and software such as Windows, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, e-mail and the Internet
* Proven abilities in building partnerships and/or collaborative working relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
* Demonstrated facilitation and crisis management skills
* Strong leadership, negotiation, interpersonal relations and communication skills
* Organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet firm deadlines
* Fluently bilingual in French and English, both verbally and in writing
